Comfortable working in both conventional and digital formats he has a special fondness for silver printing, the 'old fashion method' of making photographs by hand using chemicals. At the City University of New York he was awarded a scholarship by the Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst. It was in Bonn he first became fascinated with the power and potential of photography. After living in Bonn, Los Angles, Montréal and San Francisco, Paul came to London to pursue Master’s Degree in International Relations however 9/11 and the subsequent events left him disillusioned. In addition to his own photographic pursuits which are showcased in this site, he has provided images for corporate and personal clients, always taking care to proffer a professional service whilst respecting the privacy of his clients. Among the photographers who have informed/influenced his aesthetic sense are: Brassaї, Alfred Stieglitz, Ansel Adams, Edward Weston, Dorothea Lange, Sam Tata, Troy Paiva, Simon Norfolk and François Brunelle.
